The Result
In all the campaign was a resounding success with over 25,000 flushsavers being given away to members of the public.

"The idea behind the giant toilets was to create attention for our water conservation campaign and provide a platform to engage with our customers on the subject. Customers could definitely not miss the toilets and they provided a great focal point. The feedback from the city centre events was fantastic, we gave away thousands of flushsavers and received some positive media coverage around the issue."

The Brief
Design and build four 6ft toilets and one 9ft cistern on behalf of Yorkshire Water as part of a community project to raise awareness of water conservation and showcase the giant toilets in four key Yorkshire locations.

The Solution
We designed and built four large fibreglass toilets, three of which were painted with winning designs from a previous Yorkshire Water competition and the fourth was decorated with a 'paint by numbers' design to engage the public and offer them the opportunity to interact with the toilets and colour in the design as the tour progressed.

The toilets were showcased in York, Bradford, Sheffield and Leeds for a weekend to encourage Yorkshire Water customers to "do one thing differently" in relation to the way they use water in their homes. During the promotion Yorkshire Water used this opportunity to hand out Flushsavers to the public which they then install into their own toilets to help them control their water wastage.
