Mamas & Papas
The Result
The VM team are extremely happy with the EcoRIG Platform system, it allows the in store staff the ability to create displays at ground level and raise them to their desired height. The system allows them to make changes to a high level display without waiting weeks for the next window change if a particular line sells out or goes out of fashion.
The store staff can alter/remove the positions of the shelves to suit their display requirements. Also supplied is a POS grid which can be connected at ground level and taken up to the ceiling for suspending collateral and lighting.
"Mamas & Papas works closely with Four IV to develop innovative and engaging store designs. Partnering with EcoRIG on our Westfield London Store has allowed us to deliver an aspirational window design in a challenging 8 metre high space with a highly effective operational and flexible system. It is an amazing success and looks great, has ease of operation and allows a fast, efficient and cost effective window scheme turnaround"
Tim Richardson, Head of Store Design at Mamas & Papas
The Brief
Design and install a ground floor electrically operated, cantilevered platform system with illuminated shelving, to compliment the Mamas & Papas store design, using the EcoRIG concept of bringing a high level display down to a safe working height, allowing in-store staff to dress it without the use of high level access equipment.
The Solution
EcoRIG designed 6 slide carriages operated using a high tech winch system which is recessed into the wall, the carriages can be raised and lowered between floor and ceiling of the 8m high shop front.
Illuminated shelves were designed to cantilever from the hidden carriages so that no wires were on display and each carriage given an electrical feed so that future developments will allow the introduction of movement and illumination to the display.
